ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

This writ petition is filed alleging that police are interfering with personal liberty of the petitioner and involving in matrimonial dispute between petitioner and his ex-wife/ second respondent herein. 3.

Learned Government Pleader, based on written instructions furnished by the Station House Officer, Women Police Station, Warangal dated 19.2.2019 would submit that a complaint was filed by second respondent on 25.1.2019 alleging that her husband was harassing her by beating and abusing her and requested to conduct counseling. On receipt of the complaint, GD entry was made and since it is a matrimonial issue, first respondent contacted the petitioner on 25.1.2019 and asked him to come to police station for counseling on 27.1.2019, but petitioner did not appear for counseling. He would further submit that on 17.2.2019 second respondent came to police station and gave a letter stating that she is not interested in prosecuting the complaint lodged by her and would continue the matrimonial life with her husband.

It is therefore submitted that the issue is closed and no crime is pending against the petitioner and that police are not interfering with the personal liberty of the petitioner. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed. However, this order, does not come in the way of petitioner as well as unofficial respondent working out the remedies available to them in law. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
