THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.18225 OF 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under:- "...to issue any Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the registration of the F.I.R.No.253 of 2014 on the file of Police, Golconda Police Station, Hyderabad District, Telangana, against the petitioner as illegal and unconstitutional and set aside the same for being violative of the mandatory requirements of Criminal Procedure Code and for constituting an abuse of process of law and consequently direct the Police to desist from harassing and intimidating the friends and family members of the 2nd petitioner and police may be directed to stop respondent No.

5 and his henchmen from causing harassment and life threat to the petitioners and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioners 1 and 2 married together by following the rites and customs prevalent in Arya Samaj. After the marriage, there was no threatening or coercion from the respondents 1 to 4. Therefore, no further cause would survive in the Writ Petition.

Taking the said submission into consideration, this Court is of the opinion that the Writ Petition is liable to be closed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

It is made clear that as and when the petitioners apprehend any danger or threat to their lives, they can make fresh application before the concerned authority upon which action has to be initiated as per law.
