Challenging the inaction of the respondents in not taking action on the representations submitted by the petitioners on 18.10.2017, 14.12.2017, 15.12.2017 for payment of compensation, in view of acquiring their lands for the purpose of Industrial Corridor, the present Writ Petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (A.P.) The claim of the petitioners is that they are the assignees / legal heirs of assignees of different extents of dry land (in total Ac.

70-00 cents) situated in different survey numbers in Donivani Lakshmipuram Village, Nakkapalli Mandal, Vishakapatnam District and "D" form pattas were granted to them by the Revenue authorities in the year 1970 and the factum of the assignment and their possession and enjoyment was incorporated in the Revenue records and they have been raising crops and also cultivating Salt therein. While so, the revenue authorities planning to acquire the said lands along with the abutting lands in large extent and when they questioned, respondents 1 to 3 replied that they would resume the above lands by evicting them in the near future without any notification or notices under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, as the said land is Government land and there was a resumption clause in the pattas granted to them.

Considering the relief which the petitioners seek i.e., consideration of their representations dated 18.10.2017, 14.12.2017, 15.12.

acquiring the lands for the purpose of Industrial Corridor, without expressing any opinion, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to consider the representations of the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law. It is made clear, necessary orders shall be passed within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
