THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.30766 of 2013 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed challenging the action of the second respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, Dharmavaram, Anantapur District in not issuing necessary directions to the third respondentTahsildar, Bathalapalli Mandal for allotment of essential commodities to the petitioner in spite of issuance of appointment as fair price shop dealer of Bathalapalli Village and Mandal, through order, dated 21.06.2013, as illegal and arbitrary.

The learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies, on oral instructions, submits that at present the petitioner is continuing as fair price shop dealer and essential commodities are also being supplied to him.

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies on the basis of oral instructions, nothing survives for adjudication of the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
