Heard counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.Durga Prasad, Standing Counsel for APSRTC.

It is stated by the counsel for both sides that the issue raised in this Writ Petition is covered by the order dt.18.10.2016 in WP.No.34864 of 2016 and batch.

For the reasons alike, this Writ Petition is also disposed of declaring the petitioner as entitled for pay and allowances attached to the post of Driver till he retires from service; the arrears of pay and allowances shall be paid by the respondents with 8% interest from the due date till the date of payment, after taking into account the amounts, if any, already paid towards such pay and allowances for the period-in-question. This order shall be complied with by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Revision shall stand closed.
