M.Raveendra Reddy, S/O. M.Raghurami Reddy v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.42693 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard.
The petitioners, 49 in number, made a common application under Form VI-A of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act') and the Rules made thereunder on 21-12-2015 addressed to respondents 2 to 4. The averments in the said application show that the petitioners sought pattadar passbooks and title deeds for their respective lands. Alleging inaction, the present writ petition is filed. However, if each of the petitioners seeks grant of pattadar passbooks and title deeds, each one of them must apply separately in accordance with Form 6-A of the aforesaid Act and the Rules made thereunder. The present common application, therefore, cannot be a ground to issue a direction as sought for.
Hence, the petitioners are given liberty to apply separately if they so desire with respect to their respective lands by approaching the 4th respondent and paying requisite fee through Mee-Seva. If such applications are received by the 4th respondent, he shall examine the same individually and pass appropriate orders thereon within the statutory period of 45 days fixed under the aforesaid Act and the Rules made thereunder. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 31-12-2015 Prv
