It is stated that the father of the petitioner died on 19.10.2005, while discharging duties as Assistant Sub-Inspector at Guntur. Though Petitioner submitted several representations to consider his case on compassionate grounds, the same was rejected by respondent authorities vide order dated 25.08.2006. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents submits that respondent authorities appointed respondent No.2 wife of the deceased on compassionate grounds and as such, the case of the petitioner cannot be considered.
Considering the submissions of both the counsel, this court is of the considered view that ends of justice would be met, if petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to respondent authorities within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and upon receipt of the same, respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders within four weeks thereafter, without being influenced by the earlier rejection order dated 25.08.2006.
AKS, J WP_22277_2006 16.11.2018 With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand dismissed.
