This petition is filed, under Sections 437 and 439 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, seeking to enlarge the petitioner, who is A4, on bail in Crime No.462 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Anantapur Town Police Station, Anantapur District.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

A perusal of the remand report shows that two male persons came to aid A1 in stabbing the complainant. One of the accused among the four accused, apart from accused No.1 is a female. Hence, it is obvious that this petitioner/ A4 is present along with A1 at the scene of offence.

Considering the nature of offence, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
