HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.13548 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 07.04.2016 of the petitioner. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.

It is the case of the petitioner that the Valluru Sri Satyanarayana Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society was authorized as Paddy Procurement Centre and it had procured about 1,06,000/- quintals of paddy through our centre, but for the present Rabbi season 2016 it is declared that the PACS is not authorized centre for paddy procurement. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted a representation dated 07.04.2016 putting forward the various practical difficulties which the petitioner is facing for not declaring his PACS as an authorized Paddy Procurement centre enabling him to serve about 1000 ryths in procuring paddy from them.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and especially in view of the fact that the innocuous prayer of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent-District Collector to dispose of the representation dated 07.04.2016 of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from today and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
