THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No.10412 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent - State and the learned counsel for the 2nd and 3rd respondents - de facto complainants.

2. This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.67/2016 on the file of Amaravathi Police Station, Amaravathi, Guntur District, registered against the petitioners/A-1 to A-3, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 419 & 420 IPC.

3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the parties have amicably settled the matter and filed Crl.P.M.P.No.11295/2016 in Crl.P.No.10412/2016, to permit them to compound the above offences, as they are compoundable, and to quash the proceedings.

4. Both the parties are present and submitted that they have amicably settled the matter and the respondent Nos.2 and 3/de facto complainants may be permitted to compound the above offence. The parties are identified by their counsel. Both the parties have signed in the joint memorandum of compromise and the same has been counter signed by their respective counsel. In view of these circumstances the Crl.P.M.P.No.11295/2016 in Crl.P.No.10412/2016 is allowed and the joint memorandum of compromise is made part of this order.

5. The proceedings in Crime No.67/2016 on the file of Amaravathi Police Station, Amaravathi, Guntur District, registered against the petitioners/A-1 to A-3, for the alleged offences punishable

under Sections 419 and 420 IPC are hereby quashed and the criminal petition is allowed in terms of the compromise.
