THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.3178 of 2019 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus by declaring the action of the Respondent Authorities particularly in not extending the benefits of the "Rythu Bandhu Scheme" to the petitioner and not acting on his representation Dt:12-6-2018 in respect of his agricultural land to an extent of Ac.8.00 gts. in Sy.No.5/18 of Peddanapally Village of Kasipet Mandal, Mancherial District vide patta No.

393 of the 3rd respondent authority as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and against the principals of natural justice consequentially direct the respondent authorities to act the representation of the petitioner Dt:12-6-2018 to extend the benefits of the scheme of "Rythu Bandhu Scheme" to the petitioner by releasing the financial assistance the petitioner as entitled under the above scheme in respect of the land owned and possessed by me to an extent of Ac.8.00 gts. in Sy.No.5/18 of Peddanapally Village of Kasipet Mandal Mancherial District and pass such other order or orders may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.'

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner was issued regular pattadar pass books under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. For availing the benefit of 'Rythu Bandhu' scheme floated by the Government of Telangana, the petitioner requires e-patta pass books. He made representation dated 12.06.2018 to the Tahsildar, Kasipet Mandal, Mancherial District, requesting him to do the needful so that he can avail the benefit of the scheme. Complaining of inaction on the part of the said authority, he is before this Court.

remain somnolent when he seeks issuance of e-patta pass books for availing the benefit of the Government scheme. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Kasipet Mandal, Mancherial District, to take appropriate action on the petitioner's application dated 12.06.2018 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
