Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present Criminal Petition on the ground that charge sheet is already filed and the present petition has become infructuous and that the petitioner intends to move similar application for quashing the charge sheet proceedings. He also addressed a letter, dated 23.01.2017, to the Registrar (Judicial) to that effect.

Permission is granted.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn leaving it open to the petitioners to exercise their right, if any, in accordance with law.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
