ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction declaring the action of the respondents in not allotting an extent of 400sq yards lying adjacent to the petitioner's plot bearing No.B-42 admeasuring 133sq yards or equivalent to 110sq meters in Phase-III, S1, LIG, Type-B Sy.No.201, situated in Sahebnagar Kalan Village, Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District to the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary and further direct the respondents to allot the said 400sq yards lying adjacent to the petitioner's plot bearing No.B-42 admeasuring 133sq yards or equivalent to 110sq meters in Phase-III, S1, LIG, Type-B, Sy.No.201, situated in Sahebnagar Kalan Village, Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District to the petitioner and pass such other order or orders as may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard learned counsel on either side.

It is the case of the petitioner that the 2nd respondentsociety has allotted 133 square yards of land to him. Since, there is some extent of vacant land adjacent to his property, he submitted a representation dated 5.9.2018 to the respondents requesting them to allot the said vacant land. But, so far, no orders have been passed thereon.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 5.9.2018 submitted by the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contended that since the representation submitted by the petitioner is pending with the respondents, the respondents would consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law. Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 5.9.2018 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
