THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.2632 of 2018 ORDER:

Learned counsel for the petitioner made an innocuous prayer that as against the order dated 28.11.2017, the petitioner filed a revision before the first respondent - Special Commissioner & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Guntur, under Section 77 of the Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964, within the time, on 03.01.2018, and therefore, he requests this Court to issue a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the said revision expeditiously and not to take coercive steps against the petitioner till such time.

Learned Government Pleader for Cooperation says no objection.

In those circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner, on merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If, for any reason, the first respondent is unable to dispose of the revision within the stipulated time, he shall pass orders on the interim application filed therein duly dealing with the merits of the matter. Till the first respondent passes orders, the operation of the order, dated 28.11.2017 stands stayed.

CKR, J W.P.No.2632 of 2018 Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
