P. Santha Kumari, v. Sri Pradyumna, Ias
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY Contempt Case No.987 OF 2017 ORDER:
This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.7982 of 2008 dated 15.03.2016, wherein this Court directed the 1st respondent to take appropriate action on the report submitted by the 2nd respondent in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Now, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced proceedings Roc.E2/4562/06, dated 23.06.2017 rejecting the case of the petitioner passed by the respondentDistrict Collector, Chittoor. Learned counsel for the petitioner tried to canvass on the merits of the case and challenging the validity of the order passed by the 1st respondent dated 23.06.2017. When once the direction of this Court is to consider and pass orders, which has been complied with, the validity of the order passed by the respondent cannot be gone into in Contempt Case. It is for the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated 23.06.2017 in accordance with law.
In view of above facts and circumstances, I do not see any violation of the orders passed by this Court and accordingly, this Contempt Case is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge proceedings Roc.No.E2/4562/06, dated 23.06.2017.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
