HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.4897 of 2015 ORDER:

On instructions, the learned Government Pleader states that the 2nd respondent has already considered the petitioner's request, dated 12-02-2015 for compounding of the offence registered against the petitioner and has rejected the said request on the ground that the offence is not compoundable. The said order is stated to have been served on the petitioner also.

In view of the same, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to take appropriate legal proceedings. Permission is accorded.

With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
