When the matter was called on 09.11.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner, as such, this Court directed the matter to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, when the matter is called, none appears for the petitioner. 2.

Hence, the petition is taken up for disposal on merits. The charge sheet filed shows that the alleged offences are made out against the petitioner and there is no effort by the petitioner to refute the contents of the charge sheet. Hence, this Court opines that it is not a fit case for quash of the proceedings against the petitioner. The criminal petition is dismissed.
