THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.18749 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. The petitioner has agriculture land to an extent of Ac.1.80 1⁄2 cents in R.S.Nos.266/1 and 264/3 situated at Konduru Village, Kalidindi Mandal, Krishna District. She submitted an application on 22.04.2015 to the fourth respondent-Deputy Director of Fisheries, Machilipatnam to grant permission for conversion of agricultural land into fish ponds as per G.O.Ms.No.7 Animal Husbandry Dairy Development & Fisheries (F.II) Department, dated 16.03.2013. When no action has been taken on the said application so far, the present writ petition is filed. It is an admitted fact that the petitioner submitted the application on 22.04.2015 by paying necessary fee for conversion of agricultural land into fish ponds and that application was not considered and no orders were passed by the second respondent-District Level Committee.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16.03.2013, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and

shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
