ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue a writ, order or direction more in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not reviewing the order suspension of the petitioner vide Proc.Rc.No.498/2018-B, dated 11-6-2018 issued by the 1st respondent in terms of the Government instructions issued in G.O.Ms.No.86, GAD dated 8-3-1994 and continuing the petitioner under suspension for the last over 8 months is as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and contrary to the guidelines issued by the Government and consequently hold that the petitioner is entitled for reinstatement to duty pending disposal of Criminal Case in Cr.No.120/2018 of P.S. Bhadrachalam Town, with all consequential benefits and pass such other order or orders may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though six months have elapsed from the date of suspension of the petitioner, the respondents are not considering his case for reinstatement into service in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, GAD, dated 8.3.1994 and that appropriate orders be passed directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in terms of the said G.O. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents will review the case

of the petitioner in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, GAD, dated 8.3.1994.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to review the suspension of the petitioner strictly in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, GAD, dated 8.3.1994, consider his case for reinstatement into service and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
