OFFICE NOTE LK,J I.A.No.1 of 2022 This application is filed seeking 24.01.2022 relaxation of condition imposed by this Court.

This Court by order dated 01.03.2021 while granting bail to the petitioners imposed condition that they shall personally appear before the investigating authorities on every alternate day between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. till completion of investigation and thereafter, they shall appear before the Court concerned on each date of hearing.

Learned senior counsel for petitioners Sri P.B.Vijay Kumar submits that petitioners have complied with the said condition for about 8 months and thereafter investigating officer has changed and as the order of the Court speaks that petitioners shall appear before the investigating authorities on every alternate day between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., police are insisting the petitioners to sit in the police station from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

and they were also abused in unparliamentary language. He submits that since almost 10 months have elapsed from the date of granting bail, the said condition

may be relaxed.

Per contra, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that investigation is pending.

Taking into consideration the fact that said condition was imposed on 01.03.2021 and for a considerable period, petitioners appeared before the police, this Court deems it appropriate to modify the said condition.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to appear before the investigating authorities on every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. for a period of two months from today.
