Sekiri Subba Rao, v. Sri. K. Vijayanand
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1421 of 2015 ORDER:
This Contempt Case was filed alleging non-implementation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.15840 of 2014 dated 17.06.2014.
In the said writ petition, this Court gave liberty to the petitioners to submit a fresh representation to the respondent Corporation and the Corporation was directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders. This Court noticed from the counter affidavit filed by the respondents that the petitioners have not submitted any representation. No rejoinder was filed by petitioners disputing the same and two weeks time was granted on 22.07.2016. The said time was extended on 05.08.2016. In spite of the same, when the matter is listed today, no rejoinder is filed and on the other hand, further time is sought. In the circumstances, it is clear that no representation was filed, pursuant to the liberty given to the petitioners in the order, and hence, it cannot be held that the respondents have violated the order passed by this Court.
Accordingly, this Contempt Case is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J 19.08.2016 MVA
