Heard Sri P.V.V. Satyanarayana, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development.

2. The petitioner was appointed as a Field Assistant at

Maadinapadu Village, Dachepalli Mandal, Guntur District in the year 2007. While so, the 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 11.06.2015 kept the petitioner under suspension pending enquiry. The petitioner submitted his explanation on 24.06.2015 but the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders so far. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the 2nd respondent with a view to terminate the services of the petitioner and to appoint their choice of candidate in the said post has directed the 3rd respondent to appoint another person. Therefore, he seeks to revoke the suspension order passed by the 2nd respondent against the petitioner and consequently to direct the respondents to continue the service of the petitioner as Field Assistant.

3. Since the order of suspension was passed pending enquiry, and the petitioner submitted his explanation, I am not inclined to examine the merits of the order of suspension. In the circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the enquiry by taking in to consideration of the explanation submitted by the petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the order of suspension shall stand revoked.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
