On 24.02.2018, respondent No.1 lodged a complaint before Women Police Station, CCS, Hyderabad. Based on the said complaint, Crime No.92 of 2018 was registered under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. During the course of investigation, the de facto complainant appeared before the SubInspector of Police on 10.03.2018 and informed that on intervention of elders on both sides, matter was settled amicably and she and her husband decided to live together and therefore requested to drop further action. Recording the said statement of the complainant in case dairy part II, notice was served and accordingly after completion of the formalities, final report was submitted before the XIII A.C.M.M. Court, got R.C.No.76 of 2018, dated 28.03.2018. These facts are not disputed by the petitioners also. Further petitioners allege that even though police filed a final report stating as further action is dropped on the complaint filed by the wife of the first petitioner, police are still harassing the petitioners and the same is illegal. 3.
On written instructions furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police on 21.02.2019, the S.I. denies the above said allegation of harassment. Learned Government Pleader also submits that no new crime is registered against the petitioners and the police are not calling the petitioners to the Police Station.

In view of the above, apprehension expressed by the petitioners does not survive any more.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
