ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the withholding

of his leave encashment benefit and security deposit, though he has retired as Assistant General Manager on 31.08.2013 from the respondent bank.

2. Learned standing counsel for the respondent bank states that pending reconciliation, petitioner was not released leave encashment amount, though all other retirement benefits were released.

3. Since the reconciliation was stated to be pending as per the proceedings of the General Manager dated 31.08.2013, in view of lapse of sufficient time thereafter, the General Manager is required to consider the petitioner's request for release of leave encashment and security deposit at the earliest. Hence, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.01.2015 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J February 23, 2015 DSK
