This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner-A.1 to modify the order dated 19.1.2018 passed in Crl.M.P. No.62 of 2018 in Crl.A. No.10 of 2018 on the file of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, insofar as it relates to condition of depositing half of the cheque amount on or before 31.1.2018, while suspending the sentence of imprisonment and compensation amount imposed in judgment dated 04.12.2017 in C.C. No.198 of 2016 on the file of the XV Special Magistrate, Hyderabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that two instalments may be granted in favour of the petitioner to pay the amount as ordered. As seen from the material on record, money transaction between the parties to the dispute relates to the year 2014. While disposing of the impugned Crl.M.P., the learned Sessions Judge has given substantial time to the petitioner to deposit half of the cheque amount i.e. till 31.1.2018. It cannot be said that reasonable time was not granted to the petitioner. The Criminal Petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed. 3.

The Criminal Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
