Heard.

The petitioner states that he is cultivating the lands admeasuring Ac.0-88 cents in Sy.No.744-5 and Ac.1-97 cents in Sy.No.744-7 situated at Aminigunta Village, Chowdepalle Mandal, Chittoor District. The said land is stated to have been assigned to the deceased 4th respondent represented by his legal representatives respondents 5 to 8. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner states that he has filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent, which is numbered as ROC No.B-1/3253/2010. It is stated that the date of hearing was notified by the 2nd respondent on 15-06-2010 and notice was issued. On that date, the matter was taken up, but thereafter there was no further date notified nor the said appeal is heard and disposed of.

In view of the fact that the petitioner's appeal is stated to be pending from 2010, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to fix an early date of hearing, hear the parties and decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably before 31-12-2015. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.
