THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.3222 of 2020 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 7 to restrain the respondents 8 to 10 permanently not to interfere in the "Beerappa Pooja" performed by the Bandari Surname people which is performed as per their tradition and custom prevailing since centuries at Eklaspur Village. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents 1, 3, 5 and 7 and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 2, 4 and 6. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that additional material papers have been filed in the matter on 20.02.2020. Learned counsel for the petitioners drew attention of this Court to a representation dated 18.02.2020 addressed to the second respondent whereby the said second respondent authority was requested to look into the representation made by the petitioner and ensure that the said Beerappa Pooja be conducted in a peaceful manner without effecting their belief and faith.

Since a representation is made to the second respondent as noted herein above, the second respondent authority shall consider the same by causing enquiry in the village and take necessary action thereon, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
