THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION NO.2050 OF 2011 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.143 of 2010 on the file of the Station House Officer, II Town Police Station, SPSR Nellore District.

The offences alleged against the petitioneraccused are under Sections 420, 411 and 465 IPC. 3.

In spite of listing the matter under the caption 'for dismissal', none appears and there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner-accused. Heard the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent-State . 4.

The allegations against the petitioner-accused are that one Neelam Suresh fabricated the cheque and kept it in the custody of the petitioner-accused, as if the complainant borrowed amount and issued cheque. It is also alleged that this petitioner is instrumental to the said Neelam Suresh, who forcibly obtained the cheque from the custody of the complainant. The counsel for the petitioner does not appear before this Court to state as to how the said allegations are baseless. Considering the above, this petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this petition shall stand closed.
