O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner-society is that its representation dated 28.09.2015 seeking permission to take out a religious procession on 23.10.2015 has not been considered by the police authorities concerned. The said procession is proposed to be taken out in connection with Muhharum, which is falling on 23rd or

24th October, 2015.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Machilipatnam, Krishna District, to consider the petitioner-society's representation dated 28.09.2015 in accordance with law and take appropriate action in the matter. A decision in this regard shall be taken within one week from today and shall be communicated to the petitioner society immediately. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
