THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.945 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C.'), is filed by the petitioner/accused No.4 for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest in Crime No.30 of of Saroornagar Women Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/accused No.4 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the record.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that no application is filed by the petitioner/accused No.4 under Section 438 Cr.P.C. before the Court of Sessions. Under these circumstances, it is not appropriate to deal with the matter. However, the petitioner/accused No.4 is at liberty to move an application, under Section 438 Cr.P.C., before the Court of Sessions.

With the aforesaid liberty, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
