ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A1 to A3 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.100 of 2015 on the file of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at L.B.Nagar, for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act., against them.

2. It is alleged in the charge sheet that the marriage of A1 with the de facto complainant was solemnized on 03.12.2005. At the time of marriage, her parents gave Rs.5 lakhs and 10 tulas of gold towards dowry. Thereafter, all the accused harassed her physically and mentally by demanding additional dowry and also tried to perform the second marriage to A1. Based on the complaint, a case in Cr.No.114 of 2014 of Women Police Station, Saroornagar, Cyberabad, was registered against the accused for the offence under Section 498-A IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. In view of the allegations mentioned in the charge sheet and also the nature of proceedings, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the presence of petitioners 2 and 3/A2 and A3 before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates whenever their presence is insisted by the trial Court and they shall be represented by their counsel.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
