O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The prayer of the petitioner in this case was for a Writ of Habeas Corpus to cause production of his brother, Vijayabalaunni Ramachandran.

The Sub-Inspector of Police and Station House Officer, Bangarupalem Police Station, Chittoor District, filed a counter-affidavit stating that the petitioner's brother was A-11 in Crime No.107 of 2016 on the file of the Bangarupalem Police Station, Chittoor District, registered under various provisions of law and was arrested on 09.08.2016 at 7.30 a.m. near Doracheruvu Dhaba Hotel on ChittoorPalamaner Road. He was produced before the learned III Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Chittoor, on the same day and was remanded to judicial custody.

In the light of these averments, Sri Suresh Kumar Reddy Kalava, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the writ petition may be closed permitting the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to seek redressal of his grievances, if any, in relation to his brother's detention before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
