This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the first respondent in not allowing the petitioner to appear for written test/interview for selection and appointment to the post of House Keeper-cum-Peon, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard.

Vide order dated 06.02.2013, this Court issued notice before admission. However, no interim order was granted in favour of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the entire process of recruitment might have completed at this length of time. Since the writ petition came to be filed in the year 2013 and no interim order was granted in favour of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition at this length of time.

Hence, the Writ Petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to avail the appropriate remedy available under law, in case if any fresh recruitment is notified.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
