ORDER:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
2. Petitioner states that the request for correction of entries in the revenue records is pending with the fourth respondent with regard to the lands claimed by the petitioner in this writ petition as shown in the prayer. Petitioner states that on his request and the request of the fifth respondent, a Joint Survey was conducted on 24.08.2015, but thereafter no further follow up action is taken by the fourth respondent. Petitioner is stated to have made various representations to the Collector as well as to the Revenue Divisional Officer. Complaining of inaction, the present writ petition is filed.
3. The correction of entries in the revenue record is, primarily, for the recording authority viz., the fourth respondent. Hence, petitioner is at liberty to make appropriate application before the fourth respondent.
4. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As and when such an application is received, the fourth respondent shall give notice to all the parties affected, hear them, and take appropriate decision in the matter preferably within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the application.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
