HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO W.P.No.16476 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner states that out of the subject land, he sold part of land to the respondents 6 to 8 and executed registered sale deeds in their favour and the possession of the land was handed over to them. In view of their respective purchases, the respondents 6 to 8 got applied for mutation of their respective names in the revenue records. On the said applications, the 3rd respondent issued notice dated 05-02-2015 under Section 5 of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 calling for objections against effecting said changes. According to the petitioner, on 20-02-2015 a person by name Kavude Chinnakka filed objections. Though a request was made for effecting changes in the revenue records and notice was issued on 05-022015, so far no orders are passed by the Mandal Revenue Officer.

Having regard to the fact that notice is already issued by the competent authority, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, directing the Tahsildar (3rd respondent) to pass orders in consequent to the notice dated 05-02-2015 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
