THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.15194 OF 2003 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the award, dated 30.04.2003, of the Lok Adalat in M.C. No.14/ 2003.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, no representation is made on either side. This Court perused the record. The petitioner challenges the award of the Lok Adalat in MC No.14 of 2003, on the basis of the compromise entered into between the parties. Therefore, this Court is of the view that nothing survives in the matter to adjudicate afresh.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J August 10, 2017 KTL
