THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.6016 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the following relief: "to issue a writ, order or order more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents in conducting the elections is highly arbitrary, illegal and violative of provisions contemplated under Telangana Cooperative Societies Act and rules there under and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to conduct the elections for the post of Chairman and Vice Chairman forthwith in the interest of public."

The alleged in action on the part of the respondents 1, 2 and 4 in considering the representations dated 02.02.2017, 09.02.2017 and 13.02.2017 is under challenge in the present writ petition.

When the matter is called, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioners to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the above said representations, as per law, by fixing some timeframe. The said request is not opposed by the learned Government Pleader and on the otherhand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the same will be considered in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents 1, 2 and 4 to take appropriate action on the representations dated 02.02.2017, 09.02.2017 and 13.02.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioners, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. 5.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
