2018-02-06T. Rajani1 pages

SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.1161 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is sole accused, in Crime No.288 of 2017 on the file of Santosh Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad. The offences alleged are under Sections 354D and 506 IPC.

2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.

A perusal of the complaint shows that serious allegations are made against this petitioner, that he blackmailed the defacto complainant that he would kill her brothers and that he is publicly humiliating the defacto complainant with some of the proofs that he claims he has and telling her that he will never allow her to get married.

4.

Hence, in view of above allegations, this court opines that this is a not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. 5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the court below. The court below shall dispose of the bail application, if any filed, expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work. 6.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
