When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this Court granted interim order on 10.11.2003 directing the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Divisional Engineer as and when promotions are effec ted, if they are eligible as per law. In view of the said interim order, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition.

By placing the above submission on record, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
