THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3327 of 2020 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "...to issue a writ or Order one in particularly a WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of respondents in not releasing the entire seized stock of 662 rice bags total of 177.25 Quintals, in favour of petitioner being illegal, irregular, arbitrary and in violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to release the entire seized stock 662 rice bags total of 177.25 Quintals in favour of the petitioner on him furnishing the personal bond and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that the seized stock of 662 rice bags in total 177.25 quintals is already auctioned, vide Challan No.0000001279.

From this, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be closed. 5.
