The prayer of the petitioners in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, declaring the inaction of Respondents particularly the Respondent No.4 for issuance of Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deed in favour of the Petitioners in respect of the land in Sy.No. 310/2 admeasuring Ac.2-00 gts, Sy.No.310/A, admeasuring Ac.2-00 gts, and Sy.No.314/AA, admeasuring Ac.1-00 gts, total admeasuring Ac.5-00 gts, situated at Kandukuar Village and Mandal, Ranga Ranga Reddy District vide Khata No.

605 and the Rythu Bandu, Raythu Beema Scheme provided by the Government, it is illegal, unlawful, unjust and contrary to law and against the principles of natural justice and consequently to direct the Respondents to consider the representations of the Petitioners in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.' Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners, having purchased the subject land, submitted an application in the prescribed format in Form VI (A) under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971.

It is not open to the revenue authorities to remain somnolent after receiving an application in the prescribed format. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Kandukur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action on the petitioners' application expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
