THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.16888 OF 2012 DATED 02nd JULY, 2015 Between:

S. Venkateswarlu and another .. Petitioners and The State of Andhra Pradesh rep. by its Principal Secretary, Department of Home and others .. Respondents

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.16888 OF 2012

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioners in this case is that the Station House Officer, Dharmasagar Police Station, Warangal District, was interfering with their life and liberty and threatening to implicate them in false cases.

The Station House Officer, Dharmasagar Police Station, Warangal District, filed a counter-affidavit stating that the brother of the second petitioner had lodged a complaint that she was missing and thereupon, Crime No.136 of 2012 was registered on the file of the Dharmasagar Police Station. While so, the second petitioner herself addressed a letter to the Inspector of Police, Dharmasagar Police Station, informing that she was a major and had got married to the first petitioner. The Station House Officer stated that except for registering the crime on the basis of the second petitioner's brother's complaint, there was no harassment or interference with the life and liberty of the petitioners. Sri Shaik Mohd. Ismail, learned counsel representing Sri N.Naveen Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, states that as of now there is no interference by the police authorities with either of the petitioners.

In that view of the matter, no adjudication is called for in this writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed taking on record the stand of the police authorities. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
