When the matter is called for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Higher Education represents that the cause in the writ petition must have become infructuous.

The writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order in Letter No.2795/EC/A2/2013, dated 24.08.2013, issued by the 1st respondent, rejecting the application of the petitioner for approval of admission into B.Tech. I-Year course, as arbitrary and illegal, and sought a consequential direction to the 1st respondent to reconsider his case for approval of his admission made in the year 2011 in I-Year B.Tech. (I.T.) Course in 4th respondent College, on the ground that the petitioner has already completed 2 years course of study, by then.

The petitioner would have even completed his course of study by now, as it appears that he got admission in the said course in the year 2011 itself. Therefore, the cause in the writ petition would not survive.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as no cause survives. No order as to costs.
