Chalamacharla Chaitanya v. The State Of Ap.,
SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.992 OF 2018 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is accused No.5, in Crime No.340 of 2017 on the file of the Chillakur Police Station, SPSR Nellore District. 2.
Initially, the offences alleged are under Sections 279, 186 I.P.C. and Section 184 of M.V.Act and later Sections 120B, 379, 420 I.P.C. and Section 24(1)(a) of MMDR Act are added.
3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that earlier in the petition filed by accused No.3, while dismissing the petition, the Court directed him to surrender and obtain regular bail. This petitioner also stands on the same footing.
4.
Hence, considering the above submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner/A.5 can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the Court below. The Court below shall dispose of the bail application on merits, if any filed, expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work.
5.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
