Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the respondent - Corporation.

This writ petition is filed praying to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 08.03.2007 and sanction annual increments lor the years 2005 and 2006 and release the salaries during the period of March, 2006 to Novembcr, 2OO6.

3. This Court, by order dated 11.06.2OO7, made in W.P.M.P.No.14767 ol 2007, directed the 2na respondent to pass appropriate orders as per law within a period of three weeks lrom the date of receipt o[ copy of the order.

In the counter affidavit, while justifying the decision not to grant the benefit sought by the petitioner, it is averred that on 2O.08.2OO7 , orders were pAssed in compliance of the directions issued by this Court.

Since the prayer in the writ petition was only to consider the representation, dated 08.03.2007 and pass appropriate orders, and orders dated 2O.O8.2OO7 were passed, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the same has become infructuous.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, il any, shall stand closed.
