THE HON'BLE JUSTICE G.SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1145 of 2020 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioners/A1 to A5 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.20977 of 2019 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC, against them. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/A1 to A5, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

Though the petitioners have raised several grounds to quash the proceedings in the aforesaid case, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to dispense with the appearance of the petitioners/A1 to A5 in the aforesaid case before the trial Court. 4.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the presence of the 1st petitionber/A1 may not be dispensed with as he is prime accused in the aforesaid case.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the appearance of the petitioners/A2 to A5 in C.C.No.20977 of 2019 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, is dispensed with, except on the dates whenever their presence is required by the trial Court and they shall be represented by their counsel.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
