THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.2883 of 2018 ORDER:

It is the case of the petitioner that his father was assigned an extent of Ac.0.30 guntas of land in Survey No.16/28 of Chandapuram Village, Nelakondapally Mandal, Khammam District. His father expired. The petitioner states that he is not residing in the Village as he went to Suryapet in search of employment. Taking advantage of his absence from the Village, the fourth respondent got her name mutated in the possessor column and no notice was issued to the petitioner. On coming to know of the same, the petitioner states that he submitted a representation on 20.11.2017 to the third respondent followed by a notice through his Counsel on 09.01.2018. When no action was taken, the present Writ Petition is filed.

The petitioner has not followed the procedure contemplated under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act for making correction of entries in the revenue records. In the circumstances, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and liberty is given to the petitioner to make appropriate application in accordance with law. As and when such application is filed, it is needless to observe that the third respondent shall pass appropriate orders after hearing the fourth respondent and the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
