Objecting the action of respondents in trying to earmark land in Sy.No.313, situated at Singarayapalem village, Konijerla mandal of Khammam District for the purpose of burial ground, petitioners made representations on 11.02.2020 and 12.02.2020. As the said representations are not being considered, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for respondents 1 to 5, on instructions, submits that the burial ground has been in existence in the subject land from the times immemorial and the question of now earmarking the same for the said purpose, does not arise. Heard Sri G.

Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for 6th respondent - Gram Panchayat The 5th respondent - Gram Panchayat, represented by its Panchayat Secretary, is the competent authority before whom the representations of the petitioners are stated to be pending. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is dispose of directing the 5th respondent to dispose of the above stated representations of the petitioners in accordance with law, after giving notice and opportunity of hearing, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
