Heard Sri B.Sri Narayana, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development appearing for respondent Nos.1 to and Sri G.Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.5 and 6.

The grievance of the petitioner precisely in the present writ petition, as advocated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, is the inaction on the part of respondent No.6 in taking action on the representation, dated 30.01.2017, of the petitioner. 3.
According to the learned counsel, respondent No.7 herein encroached upon the land belonging to the Gram Panchayat, which was donated by the family of the petitioner herein. Eventually, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to take appropriate action on the said representation, dated 30.01.2017, said to have been made by the petitioner herein. 4.
Despite service of notice, there is no appearance on behalf of respondent No.7.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader and the learned Standing Counsel, this writ petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.5 Gram Panchayat to verify the representation, dated 30.01.2017, said to have been made by the petitioner herein and to take appropriate action on the said representation within a period of six (6) weeks from the
date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
