Sri Y.V. Ravi Prasad, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent in the writ appeal, and the petitioner in Writ Petition No. 18240 of 2016, seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file a civil suit against Karur Vysya Bank and others. Granting liberty as sought for, Writ Petition No. 18240 of 2016 is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the cause in Writ Appeal No. 810 of 2016 does not survive, and the said writ appeal is dismissed as infructuous. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
